Florencia Fernández Sabella contributed comments to a La Nación article on the different methodologies employers may use to calculate Income Tax withholding on the annual bonus (SAC) and how these methods can affect employees’ take-home pay.

During the article, she explained that the annual adjustment method may be more beneficial for employees with fixed salaries, as it allows certain withholdings to be deferred while benefiting from updated personal deductions and tax brackets.

She also highlighted that certain deductions—such as medical expenses and foreign currency purchase withholdings—can only be claimed in the annual tax settlement, helping employees avoid advance withholdings that would otherwise need to be refunded later.
